"If you could go back in time and undo one mistake from your past, what mistake would you undo?"
Submitted by Los Angeles Style Salope.
Just one mistake? I've made so many. And that's only today! But mistakes are all part of our learning process. And if we keep making the same mistakes then we're obviously not learning the lesson. Thankfully life just keeps presenting us with more lessons until we get it right. Although it would be nice to nip back if only to do one year at art school.
Everything has led me to this point, this place, this life - I wouldn't ever want to change that, even if it were possible. Our 'mistakes' are what make us (stronger, wiser, better...) and I like who I am, what I've become. I read somewhere that as long as we are alive then school's in session and there's a lesson to be learned. I never saw art school as somewhere romantic where dreams were made. But I got over not going down that particular road a long time ago. I took a different turn and I'm thankful that I did.

I don't have enough fingers and toes to count my many mistakes, but I wouldn't 'go back' to change any of them...they're gone and forgotten; they've been forgiven! Besides, in the time continuum that would not be possible (sorry to be so prosaic!).
If you were to change one thing, your entire subsequent life would be altered - would you want to gamble with that? The results might not be any more to your liking.
Also, from the mistakes we make, don't we, shouldn't we..learn to improve our behavior? Don't you ever imagine hearing that 'voice of life' that keeps saying, "This a test. This is a test".?
Oh, yes...I had my year(s) at art school...it's wasn't all that romantic - a lot of hard work and having to rub shoulders with so many spoiled, narcissistic types, my response to whom only added to my list of 'mistakes'!
