Lost

I type this from hubby's laptop, I suppose in that slightly numb state you feel before reality hits. I lost the entire contents of my computer hard drive last night. Had been meaning to do a back-up for weeks but you know hindsight is a wonderful thing. Trying not to think about what has been lost as there madness lies. But believe I'll be counting the cost of this for some time.  Thankfully I still have all my original artwork, journals etc but the loss of photographs is always painful, particularly those images that can never be re-created. Anyway, I'm trying to be philosphical about it all and view it as an opportunity to create lots of new images and artwork. A new hard drive arrives next week, double the size of the old one, and this time I will be taking the time to back everything up!
