Rosy Red Apples

This is the first apple from one of the fruit trees in the garden. Well actually it's the second apple because we ate the first straight off the tree!  It tastes really delicious - crisp and sweet. On Monday we had to take all the fruit off because the tree was bending over with the weight.  We got about twelve apples in all which is a pretty good crop for the first year. Only two were damaged.  The second fruit tree will be ready to pick in a couple of weeks.
