I've been reading about a range of painting mediums called Golden Gel Mediums in this month's Leisure Painter.  I want to give these products a go mainly because I like the idea of reverting to childhood and making pictures from tissue paper and other materials, building up layers and textures. Essentially just having fun and seeing where it goes.  I have another little project I'm about to start - a watercolour scene of a garden viewed from inside a doorway. I want to keep it quite loose but might use texture paste to capture the roughness of the stones outside the door.
