This is probably the best location for these pots as they are getting shelter from the strong wind (it's a typical Scottish Summer!). The pot at the front contains fuschias and grasses and was bought already planted. The middle pot is a clematis (from Dad) and at the back is an acer. This should grow quite tall which is why we put it in a pot rather than in the ground - we don't have the room given that we also have two apple trees which will both grow to 3 metres. This way we can move it round the garden to different locations. I'm thinking of putting an arbour here with a seat underneath with pots of honeysuckle, jasmine and clematis which can grow up and over the top creating a wonderful canopy of scented flowers to sit beneath. The wall you see is part of a shed in next door's garden. It's not the prettiest of walls so the arbour will hide it quite well.
